Russia issues January production results

In the first month of the current year, Russia registered a 5.5 percent rise in its crude steel output to 6.1 million mt and a 9.1 percent increase in its rolled steel output to 5.3 million mt, both year on year, according to the State Statistics Committee of Russia (Russtat).

In the given period, Russia saw a 30.2 percent increase year on year in its steel pipe production to 0.936 million mt.
