Shandong Province-based Chinese steelmaker Rizhao Steel Holding Group Co. (Rizhao Steel) has announced that construction work has officially begun on its new steel production base’s continuous caster projects Nos.1 and 2. Construction work is being carried out by Shanghai Baoye Group Corp., Ltd (Shanghai Baoye), a subsidiary of state-owned China Metallurgical Group Corporation (MCC).
The construction work carried out by Shanghai Baoye will also include the construction of auxiliary infrastructure, the installation of electromechanical devices and debugging work.
