Russia's largest coal mine Raspadskaya, at which an accident occurred on the night from May 8 to May 9 this year, will be restored, Russia's prime minister Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with miners in Novokuznetsk city, adding that, according to preliminary estimates, some Ruble 10 billion (approx. $324 million) will be required for the restoration work.

The Russian prime minister stressed that, as fires still continue to burn in the mine, restoration work will begin only after the consequences of the accident are eliminated and experts submit a restoration plan.
