Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Puyang Iron and Steel (Puyang Steel) has announced that it has successfully ignited its six-meter stamp-charging coking oven No. 1.

The oven in question was reconstructed from Puyang Steel's old top-charging coking oven. In February this year, Puyang Steel commissioned its coking oven No. 2.
