Hebei Province-based Puyang steel recently announced unchanged ex-factory prices for medium plate. The details are as follows;

The price of common carbon Q235A 16-25 mm is still at RMB 4,000/mt ($586), while low alloy plate still costs RMB 4,200 ($615).

The producer's shipbuilding plate price has not changed, and so the price of CCSB 16-25 mm remains at RMB 4,200/mt ($615).

The above prices include taxes (17 percent VAT) and are effective as of February 4.
