Puda Coal to increase coking coal capacity

Puda Coal Inc (Puda), located in Taiyuan in northern China's Shanxi province, announced that it had recently completed a new coal cleaning facility. The new facility will have 1.1 million metric tons of annual clean coking coal output capacity. The company currently has 500'000 metric tons per annum of clean coking coal capacity, and it plans to reach 2.7 million metric tons capacity in early 2006. Puda will finish construction of another facility next month which will come on stream in the beginning of 2006.
