Price hike by Allegheny Ludlum on flat products

Pittsburgh based ATI Allegheny Ludlum recently announced a price hike of almost 3% on flats covering hot rolled and cold rolled stainless steel sheets, strips and precision rolled strips and plates. The price increase, in the form of 1% cut in discount rate, will be valid for shipments as of March 8. Further price increase again by around 3% on same products and in the form of cut in discount will be effected for shipments from March 29 onwards.
