Premier Manufacturing to shut down wire-making operations in Ohio

Cleveland, Ohio-based Premier Manufacturing Corp., a fabricated steel wire producer for the HVAC industry, is closing its Ohio headquarters and steelmaking plant.

Layoffs are scheduled to begin on March 28 and are expected to be completed by the end of 2011. Cleveland production will be shifted to Premier's Tennessee and Mexico plants in April.
