POSCO reduces stainless steel prices

South Korean steel giant POSCO yesterday announced a 15-20 percent price reduction for stainless steel products, effective immediately. Sources indicate that the price reduction is ranging between Won 260'000 and Won 400'000 ($250-384) per ton. POSCO announced that it decided to reduce its prices since its prices were higher than international prices, and that nickel prices have declined.
