South Korea-based POSCO Holdings has announced that it has signed an agreement with Japanese automaker Honda to build a partnership toward carbon neutrality.

The companies will work on automotive steel sheet and electric steel sheet produced through a process that reduces greenhouse gas emissions, and ultra-high tensile steel sheet that further reduces vehicle weight.

Honda aims to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
