Port Hedland achieves single largest iron ore shipment

Australia's Port Hedland has announced that it has made the largest single iron ore shipment from its iron ore terminal.
 
The shipment totaling 263,989 mt of iron ore loaded by Australian miner BHP Billiton left the port on Tuesday, February 24. This single shipment exceeded the previous record achieved in December 2013 by 27 mt.
