Polish Huta Katowice restarts blast furnace

The Polish steel mill Huta Katowice, one of the mills functioning under Polski Huty Stali (PHS) has restarted No.2 of its three blast furnaces, after a temporary closure due to financial problems as well as heavy weather conditions. The annual combined capacity of the three blast furnaces of the mill amounts to 4.4 million tons.
