Phillips Tube acquires TubeTech

Phillips Tube Group has agreed to acquire Tube Tech North America, Inc., based in East Palestine, Ohio to gain market share in the customized welded tubing market that serves the automotive and mechanical industries.

Phillips Tube Group owns and operates three facilities that manufacture carbon and stainless steel tubing. Shelby Welded Tube and Middletown Tube Works are both located in Ohio. In 2016, the Phillips Tube Group purchased the assets of American Metal Technology, Inc. (AMTECH) in Alabama and created Phillips Tube Group of Alabama.
