Peruvian rebar sales up in April

Peruvian rebar sales in April rose 16 percent, year-on-year, the nation’s statistics agency (INEI) said on Friday.

Rebar sales in April totaled 109,438 mt, up from 94,287 mt in April 2017. Rebar sales in April increased 11.3 percent, month-on-month, when compared to 98,336 mt in March.

As for the accumulated period of January to April, local rebar sales reached 434,561 mt, 2.1 percent up, year-on-year.
