Peru’s iron ore production down 13.3 percent in H1

In June this year, iron ore production in Peru amounted to 773,301 long tons (785,710 mt), decreasing 3.2 percent compared to the same month of the previous year and up 38 percent month on month, according to Peru's Energy and Mining Ministry.

In the first half of the current year the country's total iron ore production was 3.3 million long tons (3.35 million mt), marking a fall of 13.3 percent compared to the first half of the previous year.
