Panzhihua Steel exceeds August production targets

Sichuan, China-based steelmaker Panzhihua Iron and Steel Group (Panzhihua Steel) has achieved a high production performance in August as the market environment keeps improving.

In August, the company produced 708,900 mt of pig iron, 5,900 mt more than planned. Meanwhile, the outputs of rolled steel, vanadium slag and titanium dioxide were 623,900 mt, 24,200 mt and 5,600 mt, each surpassing the planned targets respectively by 13,900 mt, 1,400 mt and 200 mt.
