Pangang Vanadium Refining achieves H1 output target ahead of time

As of June 20, Chinese company Pangang Vanadium Refining & Steel Plant, a subsidiary of Sichuan-based Panzhihua Steel, produced a total of 123,900 mt of vanadium slag, reaching its production target of 122,500 mt for the first half of 2010 ahead of time. The company's output target for the whole year of 2010 is 245,000 mt.

In order to reach its target, the plant placed great emphasis on technical improvements, such as changing the method of refrigerant charging, and using a new type of oxygen lance to adjust the intensity of oxygen blowing.
