Pakistan’s National Tariff Commission announced on Tuesday, May 23, the preliminary results regarding its antidumping (AD) duty investigation on imports of deformed concrete reinforcing steel bars from China.
The commission stated that on preliminary basis it has established that the domestic industry suffered material injury on account of volume of dumped imports, price undercutting, decline in market share and decline in productivity. Accordingly, it has calculated a preliminary dumping margin of 52.52 percent for all Chinese exporters/producers. However, the commission has decided not to impose any provisional measures in this investigation.
