Pakistan’s National Tariff Commission has announced that it has initiated an antidumping (AD) duty investigation against wire rod imports from China.
The investigation will cover the period between July 1, 2014 and June 30, 2015 and it will determine whether the wire rod originating in and/or exported from China was dumped into Pakistan and whether such dumping has caused and/or is causing material injury to the domestic industry.
The products subject to antidumping duty investigation currently fall under Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7213.9010, 7213.9190, 7213.9990 and 7227.9000.
