Finnish mining and metal manufacturing equipment provider Outotec has announced that it completed the acquisition of the business of Sinter Plant Services CC in South Africa on November 2. Sinter Plant Services provides spare parts and services to South African ferrochrome plants from its service center and manufacturing facility close to Johannesburg.

The acquisition complements Outotec's service offering, and strengthens its position as a provider of life-cycle solutions to South African ferroalloy producers. The acquisition will not impact Outotec's financial guidance for the current year.
