Outokumpu announces March surcharges

Finland-based steelmaker Outokumpu announced alloy surcharges for its stainless steel grades effective for March 2006. In line with the statement released by the company, Outokumpu will apply an alloy surcharge of Euro 900 per ton on its 304 series for March 2006 deliveries. The surcharge on 304 series for February 2006 is Euro 833 per ton. On the other hand, alloy surcharge on 316 series will be Euro 2,134 per ton, and 430 ferritic grade series will be subject to an alloy surcharge of Euro 179 per ton. The February surcharges for these series are Euro 2,222 per ton and Euro 189 per ton, respectively.
