OMK’s ATZ sees 27.5 percent growth in H1 pipe output

The Russian pipe producing company United Metallurgical Company (OMK) has announced that in the first half of this year its Tatarstan-based subsidiary Almetyevsk Pipe Plant (ATZ) increased its steel pipe output by 27.5 percent to 82,715 mt and raised its shipments by 23.5 percent to 83,451 mt of steel pipes, both compared to the same period last year.
 
In June this year, ATZ produced 15,253 mt of steel pipes - up 5.85 percent compared to May, while its shipments amounted to 15,045 mt of steel pipes.
