OMK’s ATZ sees 15 percent rise in Q1 pipe output

The Russian pipe producing company United Metallurgical Company (OMK) has announced that in Q1 this year its Tatarstan-based subsidiary Almetyevsk Pipe Plant (ATZ) increased its steel pipe output by 15 percent to 44,158 mt and raised its shipments by 13 percent to 43,528 mt of steel pipes, both compared to the same period last year.
 
In March this year, ATZ produced 17,084 mt of steel pipes - up 19 percent year on year.
