OECD CLI shows weak performance

The composite leading indicator (CLI) for the OECD area fell 0.4 point from 103.6 in February to 103.2 in March, said the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). OECD's six-month rate of change was down for the second month, after three months of slight increases. The CLI for the US fell 1.0 point to 101.6 in March, while the CLI for the Euro zone, Japan and the UK all eased 0.2 points. This took the Euro zone CLI to 105.3, Japan's to 98.5 and the UK's to 100.4.
