Central Europe-based miner New World Resources Plc (NWR) has announced that it has reached agreements with its customers for coking and thermal coal prices for 2015.

Accordingly, the average price for 74 percent of NWR's expected coking coal production in 2015 has been agreed and fixed for the full year of 2015 at €93/mt, indicating a nine percent increase compared to the last quarter of 2014. Prices for the remainder of the expected production will be negotiated later in the year.

The company said that the aforementioned coking coal price is based on the expectation that coking coal sales in 2015 will be split approximately in the ratio of 47 percent mid-volatility hard coking coal, 42 percent semi-soft coking coal, and 12 percent PCI coking coal.
