The US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced Wednesday the preliminary result of its administrative review of the suspension agreement with Joint Stock Company Severstal regarding cut-to-length carbon steel plate from Russia.  The period of review is calendar year 2012.  The review was requested by Nucor.

The DOC has preliminarily determined that Severstal has "adhered to the terms of the suspension agreement" and that "the agreement is functioning as intended."

The Department plans to complete this review by February 2104.
