NSSMC launches new brand in bar and wire rod business

Japanese steelmaker Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation (NSSMC) has announced that its Bar & Wire Rod Unit has launched SteeLinC, a new business brand, together with bar and wire rod  processing companies Matsubishi Metal Industry Co., Ltd; Miyazaki Seiko Co., Ltd; Nippon Steel & Sumikin Precision Forge, Inc.; Nippon Steel & Sumikin Steel Processing Co., Ltd; Nippon Steel & Sumikin Steel Wire Co., Ltd; Nippon Steel & Sumikin Welding Co., Ltd; Nippon Steel & Sumikin BOLTEN Co., Ltd; Sanyu Co., Ltd; Suzuki Metal Industry Co., Ltd; Nippon Steel & Sumikin Cold Heading Wire (Suzhou) Co., Ltd (NBC China); and Nippon Steel & Sumikin Steel Processing (Thailand) Co., Ltd (NSSPT).

SteeLinC will commence operation on October 1. According to NSSMC's statement, the company has decided to create the new brand for its bar and wire rod business with the aim of deepening relations with customers by presenting customer-friendly solutions.
