Northwest Pipe’s water transmission group awarded section 15-2 of Integrated Pipeline Project

Vancouver, Washington-based Northwest Pipe Company announced Friday that it was selected to provide 67,945 feet of 108-inch diameter, cement mortar lined and polyurethane coated pipe for section 15-2 of the Integrated Pipeline (IPL) in North Central Texas. The construction contract for the installation of this segment has been awarded to BAR Constructors, Inc. of Lancaster, Texas, and is anticipated to be substantially complete by August 2016. The pipeline will transport raw water and provide new infrastructure capacity for the area and is jointly owned by Tarrant Regional Water District and Dallas Water Utilities.
