Portland, Oregon-based Northwest Pipe Company (Northwest Pipe) has announced the receipt of pipe supply orders for two major water pipeline projects in US. The total contract value of both projects is estimated at $26 million.

Under the scope of the contract with Texas-based S.J. Louis Construction of Mansfield, Northwest Pipe is to supply about 11,200 feet of 96" pipe and engineered fittings for a Los Angeles Department of Water and Power project. The pipes will be produced at Northwest Pipe's California-based Adelanto facility, while the shipments are scheduled to commence in early 2009.

The second order, received from Missouri-based Garney Construction of Kansas City, includes Northwest Pipe's supply of approximately 30,000 feet of 72" pipe and engineered fittings for the city of Aurora, in Colorado. The shipments of pipes, which will be manufactured at Northwest Pipe's Denver facility in Colorado, are scheduled to start in the fourth quarter of 2008.
