NMDC’s iron ore output remains stable in April

India's state-owned miner National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) has announced that in April it produced 2.44 million mt of iron ore, remaining unchanged compared to the same month of the previous year. The company's iron ore sales amounted to 2.97 million mt, increasing by 22.2 percent year on year.
 
In April, NMDC's iron ore output from its Karnataka mines increased by 1.4 percent to 730,000 mt, while the iron ore output from its Chhattisgarh mines stood at 1.71 million mt, down 0.6 percent, both year on year.
