NLMK’s long steel division ships 1.6 million mt in 2011

In 2011, the long steel division of Russian steelmaker NLMK shipped more than 1.6 million mt of steel products, 0.4 percent higher than in 2010. In particular, in the given period NLMK's long steel division shipped 1.179 million mt of rebar, 133,000 mt of wire rod, and 239,000 mt of metalware.

90 percent of the shipped products were consumed in the domestic market. The main export destinations for NLMK's long steel division deliveries were CIS countries, Europe and the Middle East.
