Russian steel producer NLMK Group has announced that it has signed cooperation agreements with leading Russian steel trading companies Metallservis and Steel Industrial Company. The total steel sales of these two companies amounted to 4.3 million mt in 2018.
Under the agreement, the two trading companies will have the ability to display their product range through NLMK’s online marketplace, and will have access to NLMK’s marketing and IT services. NLMK Group, on the other hand, will be able to use the customer service and logistics networks of Metallservis and Steel Industrial Company.
With this agreement, the trading companies will be able to accelerate their steel deliveries through the biggest shared network of 70 warehouses and more in Russia. While NLMK’s marketplace will offer a full service for the construction industry with more than 20,000 products and sizes, buyers will also have the opportunity to avail of complete customer service from processing and prepping, to the packaging and shipping of steel products.
