Ningbo Steel starts construction work on steel strip project

Chinese steel giant Baosteel Group has announced that its subsidiary Ningbo Iron and Steel Co. (Ningbo Steel) has started construction work on its continuous casting steel strip project. The planned annual output capacity of the project is 500,000 mt.

Construction work on the project will be carried out by Baosteel Engineering and Technology Group Co. together with China 20th Metallurgical Group Co, which is a subsidiary of state-owned enterprise China Metallurgical Group Corporation (MCC).
