Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant restarts three furnaces

The largest Ukrainian ferroalloy producer Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant (NZF) has announced the recommissioning of three of its melting furnaces, namely furnaces No. 3, No. 13 and No. 15, as the company increases its output in line with rising demand for its products.
 
Accordingly, in February NZF plans to increase its ferroalloy output by 64 percent to 30,100 mt, compared to 18,300 mt produced in January.
 
Currently, NFZ is operating six furnaces which produce ferromanganese and silicomanganese.
