New motor vehicle registrations in Turkey up 32.1% in Nov from Oct

According to the statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in November last year new motor vehicle registrations in Turkey increased by 33.4 percent year on year to 129,360 units and were up by 32.1 percent on month-on-month basis.
 
New passenger car registrations in November last year totaled 88,720 units, increasing by 49.2 percent as compared to October and up 57.5 percent year on year. Passenger cars accounted for 68.6 percent of total new motor vehicle registrations in the given month.
 
On the other hand, new small truck registrations in November increased by 21.9 percent month on month and were up 5.7 percent year on year, amounting to 18,494 units. Small truck registrations constituted 14.3 percent of total new registrations in November last year.
