New motor vehicle registrations in Turkey up 14.2% in Nov from Oct

According to the statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in November last year new motor vehicle registrations in Turkey increased by 3.3 percent year on year to 96,956 units and were up by 14.2 percent on month-on-month basis.
 
New passenger car registrations in November last year totaled 56,326 units, increasing by 24 percent as compared to October and up 0.8 percent year on year. Passenger cars accounted for 58.1 percent of total new motor vehicle registrations in the given month.
 
On the other hand, new small truck registrations in November increased by 21.3 percent month on month and were up 15.2 percent year on year, amounting to 17,490 units. Small truck registrations constituted 18 percent of total new registrations in November last year.
