On April 26, Jiangsu Province-based Nanjing Steel announced its latest ex-factory prices for some products. The details are as follows:
1.
Wire rod prices have increased RMB 50/mt ($6/mt). Following the adjustment, the price of 6.5 mm Q235 is now RMB 3,750/mt ($486/mt).
2.
Rebar prices have gone up RMB 50/mt ($6/mt). As a result, the price of 18-25 mm diameter HRB 335 is now RMB 3,560/mt ($462/mt).
3. Common carbon round steel has increased RMB 40/mt ($5/mt), with the new price of 18-25 mm diameter Q235 now at RMB 3,670/mt ($476/mt).
4. Quality carbon section steel prices increased RMB 60/mt ($7.8/mt). As a result, the new price of 18-28 mm 45# is RMB 3,840/mt ($498/mt).
All the above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of April 26.
