Nanjing Steel carries out hot run test on its steel bar project

Jiangsu Province-based Chinese steelmaker Nanjing Iron and Steel Group Co. (Nanjing Steel) has performed a successful hot run test on its steel bar production project, as announced on December 30 by Beijing-based state-owned China Metallurgical Group Corporation (MCC). Construction work on the project was carried out by MCC subsidiary China MCC20 Group.

The annual output capacity of Nanjing Steel's bar project is 800,000 mt. Construction work had started on the project on June 1, 2013.
