Moldavian Steel Works resumes crude steel production

Moldavian Metallurgical Works (MMZ), a steelmaker based in the Transnistrian region of Moldova, has announced that it restarted production of crude steel on March 6.

Accordingly, the company plans to produce 40,000-42,000 mt of finished steel products in the current month of March. From March 2 to March 4 inclusive,  the company produced 1,977 mt of finished steel products, including 1,693 mt of reinforcing bars and 284 mt of rods.
