Moldavian Steel Works produces 40,986 mt of crude steel in April

In April this year, Moldavian Metallurgical Works (MMZ), a steelmaker based in the Transnistrian region of Moldova, produced 40,986 mt of crude steel and 37,921 mt of rolled steel products, including 16,484 mt of reinforcing bars and 21,437 mt of wire rod. Shipments in April totaled 45,648 mt of rolled products, including 24,744 mt of reinforcing bars and 20,904 mt of wire rod.

According to its production program for May, MMZ plans to produce 41,000 mt of crude steel and 39,000 mt of rolled products.

MMZ's May production rolled steel products will be shipped to Russia, Ukraine, Moldova and EU countries.
