Moldavian Steel Works produces 31,903 mt of crude steel in March

In March this year, Moldavian Metallurgical Works (MMZ), a steelmaker based in the Transnistrian region of Moldova, produced 31,903 mt of crude steel and 35,033 mt of rolled products, including 21,041 mt of reinforcing bars and 13,992 mt of wire rod. Shipments in March totaled 26,683 mt of rolled products, including 14,118 mt of reinforcing bars and 12,565 mt of wire rod.

According to its production program for April, MMZ plans to produce 39,215 mt of crude steel and 36,883 mt of rolled products.

In the first fourteen days of April, MMZ produced 11,850 mt of crude steel and 15,665 mt of rolled products, including 4,811 mt of reinforcing bars and 10,854 mt of wire rod. Shipments in the same period amounted to 23,193 mt of rolled products, including 11,993 mt of reinforcing bars and 11,200 mt of wire rod.

MMZ's April production rolled steel products will be shipped to Russia, Ukraine, Moldova and EU countries.
