MOC: Average finished steel price in China down 0.8 percent

On November 17, China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) announced that during last week (November 9-15) the overall average finished steel price in China decreased by 0.8 percent week on week.

In the given week, average prices of hot dip galvanized (HDG) and common steel round bar in China declined by one percent and 0.9 percent week on week, respectively.

In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China decreased by 2.6 percent compared to the previous week. The average price of nickel (Ni> = 99.2%) declined by 2.9 percent compared to the previous week.

In addition, in the week in question, the average price of coal in China declined by 0.1 percent week on week. In particular, the average prices of thermal coal and coking coal decreased by 0.2 percent and rose by 0.4 percent respectively, while the average price of anthracite coal remained stable week on week.
