MOC: Average steel prices in China edge up slightly during July 24-30

China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during the July 24-30 period this year the overall average finished steel price in China edged up slightly.

In the given period, the average prices of hot rolled steel strip, rebar and high-speed wire rod moved up by 1.3 percent, 1.0 percent and 0.9 percent, week on week, respectively.

In the same period, the average prices of thermal coal remained stable, while prices of coking coal and smoke-free lump coal increased by 0.6 percent and 2.3 percent, week on week, respectively.
