China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during the May 8-14 period this year the overall average finished steel price in China moved down.
In the given period, the average prices of common steel plate, steel channel and hot rolled steel strip decreased by 1.4 percent, 1.2 percent and 1.0 percent week on week, respectively.
In the same period, the average prices of thermal coal, coking coal and smoke-free lump coal moved down by 0.8 percent, 3.4 percent and 3.6 percent week on week, respectively.
