China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during last week (November 21-27) the overall average finished steel price in China increased by 1.5 percent week on week.
In the given week, average prices of hot rolled strip, rebar and high-speed wire rod in China rose by two percent, 1.4 percent and 1.3 percent week on week, respectively.
In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China increased by six percent week on week. The average price of nickel (Ni> = 99.2%) rose by 4.6 percent compared to the previous week.
In the week in question, the average price of coal in China increased by one percent week on week. In particular, the average prices of coking coal, thermal coal and anthracite coal moved up by 1.3 percent, 0.9 percent and 0.9 percent week on week, respectively.
