MOC: Average finished steel price in China up 0.1 percent

On March 25, China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) announced that during last week (March 16-22) the overall average finished steel price in China rose by 0.1 percent week on week.
In the given week, average prices of high speed wire rod and equal angles in China increased by 0.4 percent and 0.2 percent week on week, respectively.

In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China remained stable compared to the previous week. The average price of nickel (Ni >= 99.2%) moved on a stable trend compared to the previous week.

In addition, in the week in question, the average price of coal in China decreased by 0.7 percent week on week. In particular, the average prices of anthracite coal, thermal coal and coking coal declined by 0.2 percent, 0.6 percent and 1.8 percent week on week, respectively.
