MOC: Average finished steel price in China edges down

On September 17, China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) announced that during last week (September 8-14) the overall average finished steel price in China was down 0.4 percent week on week.
In the given week, average prices of high-speed wire rod, steel channels and equal angles in China decreased by 0.5 percent week on week.

In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China decreased by 2.4 percent compared to the previous week. The average price of nickel (Ni >= 99.2%) declined by 0.7 percent week on week.

In addition, in the week in question, the average price of coal in China remained stable compared to last week. The average prices of brown coal, bituminous coal and anthracite coal all remained unchanged week on week.
