MOC: Average finished steel price in China down 0.4 percent

On November 10, China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) announced that during last week (November 2-8) the overall average finished steel price in China decreased by 0.4 percent week on week.

In the given week, average prices of hot rolled sheet (HRS) and hot dip galvanized (HDG) in China declined by 0.9 percent and 1.1 percent week on week, respectively.

In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China decreased by 0.5 percent compared to the previous week. The average price of nickel (Ni> = 99.2%) declined by 3.2 percent compared to the previous week.

In addition, in the week in question, the average price of coal in China remained stable week on week. In particular, the average price of coking coal decreased by 0.2 percent week on week, while the average prices of thermal coal and anthracite coal remained stable week on week.
