MMK's steel product shipments up 2.4 percent in Q1

Russian steel producer Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) has stated that in January-March this year it shipped around 2.7 million mt of steel products by rail to Russian and foreign customers, up 2.4 percent compared to the same period of last year. 1.65 million mt of shipments went to the domestic market, up 2.8 percent, while export shipments totaled 965,000 mt, increasing by 1.8 percent, both year on year.
