MMK to maintain September shipments of coated rolled metal at August levels

In September this year, Russia's Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) intends to maintain its shipments of zinc-coated rolled metall at August levels, i.e., at around 38,000-40,000 mt, including 35,000-37,000 mt to the domestic market. Also, the company plans to ship a total of around 25,000 mt of polymer-coated rolled metal in September, including around 24,000 mt to the domestic market.

In the January-August period of the current year, MMK produced 492,000-495,000 mt of coated rolled metal, down three to four percent compared to the same period last year
